Hello World: Stella

This morning my sister gave birth to a wonderful and super tiny young girl named Stella. I’m going to be the godfather, and I think I’m already totally in love :) Welcome to the world, Stella! I went to the hospital during lunch and snapped these little images to share them with the world:

Modifications

I still have to add some blogs to the sidebar and tweak the design a little, but I’m glad some of you already found their way to this blog. I definitely have to get a list of other evangelists/bloggers up here and make a linklove page for those who linked here - I’ll get to that later. Stay tuned.

Up And Running

So, finally, after some DNS issues, we’re good to go. All set for another online experience in the blogosphere. Welcome to MicroMiel.

Recently I’ve left the advertising world and joined the Microsoft EMEA team. My desk is at the BeLux headquarters in Diegem, close to Brussels. It’s a pretty cool location and I only have to drive for 40 minutes if the traffic isn’t jammed. With some smooth tunes, it’s almost like teleporting in slow motion. It’s a cool location and I like it there. I’ll have to travel a lot but I don’t mind that because I really like meeting new people and telling stories. I even learn more from listening and I’m looking forward to hearing what other people have to say.

I’ve established this blog because I need to have an outlet/archive of the things that interest me, and to let people know what I’m doing here at Microsoft, and what I think of it. This isn’t supposed to be a pre-chewed PR channel where marketing messages are being reproduced. This is my channel. My view on the Microsoft related things.

I don’t know where this blog is going to go. I’ll just take it one day at a time and see where it ends up. Thanks for reading, and hopefully, I’ll see you soon.
