CES Countdown
First off, happy 2008 everyone! I hope you all had a great time and I wish some of your dreams may come true in the year to come.
CES has been kicked off in Las Vegas. I wish I could have been there with some other Enthusiast Evangelists to join the fun and excitement, but since I’m not, I had to follow it from a distance and see what my colleagues throw online.
Last year was a year of very big announcements, so from the Microsoft point of view things will not be as spectacular this year compared to back then. Nevertheless, I’m still looking forward to ‘our’ keynote and the evolution Microsoft made by building on the announced releases last year.
It’s the last year Bill Gates would be there as full time Microsoft employee, since this year he’ll be switching to the Gates Foundation on focus on that. This was Bill’s 15th CES, a good reason to have a sit down and take a brief glance over that period and a small peek into tomorrow’s keynote he’s going to do. Lucky Nic Fillingham got to interview him!
